More than 35 nonprofit organizations will gather at Slayter Creek Park in Anna, TX on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the 2026 Impact Expo, a free public event where residents can learn about services and resources available across Collin County.
The City of Anna announced the event on March 2, 2026, listing participating organizations that span health services, housing assistance, youth development, disability advocacy, veterans support, and faith-based outreach. Among the confirmed participants are ManeGait, a therapeutic horseback riding program; Sleep in Heavenly Peace and its Melissa, TX chapter, which builds and delivers beds to children in need; The Samaritan Inn, a McKinney-based homeless shelter; and Combined Arms, which connects veterans and military families with resources.
Other attending organizations include Chase Oaks Melissa Campus, Collin County Sheriff's Office Dispatch, First United Bank, McKinney Family YMCA, North Texas Disability Chamber, Maximus — which administers the Texas Health Steps and STAR Program — and STARRY, a nonprofit providing mental health and family services. Youth-focused groups such as TLT - Tomorrow's Leaders Today, IChoose Foundation Inc., and Young, Black, and Suburban Kids are also on the participant list, alongside civic and community groups like Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Gamma Alpha Omega Zeta Chapter and Volunteer McKinney - Serving Collin County.
The full list of 35 participating organizations also includes All in the Family Services Inc. (AFS), Above All Things Dream Foundation, AEYL, Curtanis Group LLC, Dominique Cares, HDG University/Tech Tradesmith Institute, Hope Restored Missions, LatterHouse Decor, LifePath Solutions, Manda Strong Foundation, One Earth One Chance, People's Impact Network, Purposed for Destiny Ministry, The Teacher's Closet of North Texas, and TMWF, among others.
The Impact Expo is one of several community events Anna has scheduled this spring. The city also announced an Easter Eggstravaganza for 2026 and recently named Ronda Perez as new City Manager, as posted on the city's website on March 11, 2026.
